Good News...Bad News.....

Morning folks...well it's a real mixed bag today....good news...bad news...what caught my eye this week and a sneaky peek thrown in for good measure....so let's start off with the good news.....I am over the moon...my Mi Casa card was chosen as one of the Fab 5 in the Hero Arts Monthly Competition....and the prize....choose $50 of Hero Arts goodies from their catalog.....better get going with the sorting out and filing ready for some more stamps coming to reside in the cubbyhole....but how do I choose......my wish list is endless.....

and what caught my eye this week...this gorgeous card from Ctprezzia ....another of the Fab 5 winners.....just love that funky sewing machine....a Hero Arts Digital Image....I need to hunt this one down

and the bad news....I had a little trip yesterday  morning.....no not out to my favourite craft shop unfortunately....but over a tree root on our morning stroll...put my hands out to save myself as you do...oh my giddy aunt I thought I'd broken my wrist....but it turns out it's just badly staved...so I am still managing to craft a little bit but not exactly firing on all cylinders and with so much to do.   Sod's law springs to mind....but hey I could have ended up in the plaster and that would have been a disaster.....so to finish off a little sneaky peek....and this card took me the whole day to make....so the production line has slowed down considerably.....

Well it's time for our morning stroll and yes I will be keeping my eyes wide open for more of those pesky roots....catch up with all tomorrow over at Penny Black Saturday....oh boy do we have a big surprise for you all ...lots of fun and gorgeous prizes up for grabs....so be sure to pop over and join in the fun.

Edited to add: to answer Carol's question....I used to buy my HA's from The Glitter Pot but I now get them from Simply Create....Jacqui can order anything that perhaps she doesn't have in stock....but you can shop online at the Hero Arts website...unfortunately not a huge choice but watch this space because they are working on rolling out the same idea as they have in the US.....order your products online and they will be delivered to your local retailer....who has to sign up to join the scheme....how fabulous would that be.
