The "IN" Place....

Morning folks...yes it's official....THE SEW ROOM is well and truly open for business...it was great to see lots of lovely folks...old friends and new turn out to support my lovely buddy Anne in her new venture and if the level of interest was anything to go by...there are going to be loads of fabulous workshops to tempt us all in the future...you heard it here first...this is definitely going to be the new "IN PLACE" for all us crafty folks to hang out.  Anne is a truly inspirational and very talented tutor but she also has that all important quality...she's a real PEOPLE person...she has a wonderful rapport with her customers...makes everyone feel so welcome and has a great sense of humour...MY KINDA GIRL...

It's been a rollercoaster journey...lots of big knicker moments but with the love and support of her family and her true friends...Anne is now living the dream...

    The Sew Room is a fabulous addition to Alford's High Street and you are right Cath - Anne is an amazingly talented lady, and the perfect person to pass on her sewing skills, which she does with patience, reassurance and most of all a fantastic sense of humour! Busy getting all my Sunday household chores done as I'm off to one of her workshops at 1pm. Going to miss her when I move to Luanda, hope she holds online workshops - I'll be her first customer. With friends like you and Debbie Anne is truly blessed!

    Kath you are sew right. Anne is an amazing person. Missed yesterdays grand opening but have prepped tonights dinner as i'm heading out to annes cushion workshop this afternoon. Hope she has lots of patience sewing is not my forte but would love to master the basics.

    This all looks rather scrummy goodies Kath, I wish Anne all the best your dead right what you said about her she is always so helpful and always happy to see you, will have to plan a wee junt to Alford to see her. Aud

    This looks fabulous - I might even have a chance of learning to sew .........
