Christmas Fun...

Morning folks...woohooo the weather's been great hasn't it over the last few days...let's hope it holds up for the Olympics...sun...sun...sun all the way unlike the cubbyhole which seems to be doing the whole Winter in July thing...snowflakes everywhere at the moment...
Debbi Charlotte and I had a fun night at our Christmas Altered Art Evening at The Papeterie...thanks to all the lovely crafty girls who came along to play and here are the three projects we made...

at my work station a cute Snowman to decorate your Christmas Mantlepiece...

 binding Charlotte's fabulous Calendar Book...
waiting for the glue to dry on Debbi's gorgeous decoration...

Well it's ta ta for now from me...I'm all set for another day of fun and frolics at The Papeterie...I'm thinking I should just take my bed over and move in permanently...see you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: wasn't the Olympic Opening Ceremony just FANTASTIC..loved it...well done Danny and London but was it a good idea staying up until the very last minute...feel as though I've been pulled through a hedge and probably have the looks to match...gotta hope a nice hot shower wakes me up and sorts out the scary look.

  1. Very pretty. My MIl used to make Xmas ornaments to hang outside on your porch. They looked similar to your woven items...she used the plastic webbing from 6 packs of pop.
Your pictures reminded me of her...thanks for that little trip down memory lane.

  5. Yes, it was spectacular last night, I thoroughly enjoyed it (fell asleep half way through the athletes coming on but woke up for GB) but it was far too late for me. Bit like a zombie today.......love your makes though, the snowman is a lovely piece. Hope the sun shines on all of us for the next few weeks.......Crafty hugs, Anne x

  12. Love all your creations!
Stayed up right until the end of the opening ceremony too, it was excellent I thought. Doesn't it make you all patriotic - now for the next two plus weeks I'll be watching sports that I wouldn't normally watch and cheering on Team GB.

  13. Gorgeous makes Kath. Looks like you all had a lovely time.

At the moment the rain is stotting off the ground and my velux windows. Second time today. This morning people were trapped inside the village shop as it was raining so hard. Same thing happened yesterday afternoon! Why us?!!

Have a lovely weekend, hope you had a great day at the Papeterie today.
