What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks...after a bit of a pep talk the cubbyhole crew are back at work...to be honest the horrible weather that's returned to our neck of the woods...rain...rain and more rain gave us the kick up the butt we needed to get going again and hey before you know it's the middle of the week and time to hop on over to Julia's place and join all those crafty folks at WOYWW.
So what's on my workdesk ....a Sizzix die-cutting project which needs finishing today...
so that I can move on to planning a workshop project with these goodies...
but workplace relations are a tad strained...a certain unhappy hang dog look cubbyhole crew member aka The Furry Boy is threatening all sorts of mutinous actions because he missed out on his usual Sunday pamper session...so to keep the peace it's time to get de-furring which basically transfers the hairs from His Nibs onto me and the carpet resulting in everybody needing a de-fur with a little help from that other very essential member of the crew...the "can't live without" Mr Dyson.
but in the time it's taken me to put the kettle on for the first cuppa of the day...he's fed up waiting and is now having a snooze...
See you all tomorrow...oh dear another numptie moment to share...
Hugs Kath xxx

  11. mm Kath heard today on our local radio about the yucky weather over there.. and hope it leaves your place soon.
I guess it wont help to say we have stunning winter sunshine here and about 20C.. for Buddy think he likes sleeping better than de-furring despite his hang dog look!
thanks for sharing ~ happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #64

    Bet he is great company.
Some very ice dies there, so much so you made me want to visit a website I know that does them at reasonable costs. Mmm... think I need to spend.

  17. Oh dear those eyes say it all - combined with the snoozing mode! Looks like you're having quite a session with those dies & papers. I dread to think what you are about to reveal next............
Torrential downpour here today - I knew your weather from yesterday would come down south........

  18. Buddy still looks gorgeous before he's brushed. My two girls are casting like mad, Mr Dyson is very busy in our house too, usually 2 or more times each day and yet we're still wearing fur with everything. I thought a paddling pool bath last week would slow down the casting but we just ended up with a hairy pool and fluffy garden too.

  26. My inlaws had a lovely Golden for many years and I always remember the weekly grooming sessions! We used to do it in the garden, collect up all the fur and leave it for the birdies to line their nests with! Love that big pile of dies too and as I'm late I've also read todays post too! I keep a smallish book in my handbag of all my dies and things like that written in it so I don't duplicate any!

  30. Shame, poor baby, he must be exhausted. Just like me, it took me two days to organise my craftroom, that is why I am so very late this week. Love those goodies on your desk.
