Handbags and Gladrags...

Hi folks...crikey it's Friday already...time doesn't half fly when you're having fun...Day 1 of the Fiskars Workshop is in the bag...can't think of a better way to spend your time than in the company of lots of lovely crafty folks and I'm looking forward to doing it all over again today.
Time to share a "just couldn't resist having one more play" project using the fabulous fabulous Kitsch Collection from Craftwork Cards...the pink and turquoise papers and the very cute die cuts were just calling out to be made into a Handbag card and us girls...small or otherwise...sure like our handbags...

and the inside...

or you could add a small pocket to hold a gift voucher...a pair of earrings or a bracelet...
But where do the gladrags come in I hear you ask...well once again this old crafty girl has packed enough clothes for a month long expedition...you would think by now I would have it down to a fine art but I'm sure I'm not the only one who is guilty of the old "I'll take this just in case...covering all occasions" mindset and then I wonder why I'm out in a cold sweat at check in when I see my suitcase tottering on the brink of excess baggage and it may well be a tight squeeze on the way home...I've already spotted some "must-have" crafty items for the cubbyhole stash.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Hi Kath, gorgeous handbag card, it would cost a fortune in the shops. Lovely sharp sunny morning here, hopefully the weather's nay bad down with you today. I know what you mean about packing the just in case clothes, I honestly would like to pack the whole wardrobe. Enjoy your crafty day...Trish

  5. This is gorgeous Kath. I think wee girls would go daft receiving something so very cute and pretty. As for packing, guilty as charged, I know exactly where your coming from with this, but who can blame you, the weather is freezing, then wet, then warm, then sunny but cold, then... rinse and repeat, lol.
A girl needs to be prepared for all of the above, take care and have fun!
