Even More May Card Kit Makes...

Hi folks, I'm back to share the last two cards for this week, made with the Simon Says Stamp "Kind Heart" May Card Kit. The kit has SOLD OUT but individual items from the kit are available to buy HERE.
And who knew, I would become addicted to these Pink Fresh Studios "Let Your Heart Decide" Epoxy Stickers, making a simple card where the heart stickers are the star of the show...
they are gorgeous but not easy to photograph with their super glossy finish.
I trimmed the paper from Pink Fresh Studios "Let Your Heart Decide" 6 x 6 Paper Pad, added the hearts which are self adhesive, stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Take Heart stamp set with Intense Black ink and die cut "heart" from a left over scrap of paper from the pad using the Heart die that came in the kit.
and the second card came about after a little bit of an accident...
I had trimmed one of the papers from the paper pad to be slightly smaller than the A2 card blank and then proceeded to knock over my cup of coffee, not all over the paper but with enough coffee splatters to make it a NO...NO. A lightbulb moment kicked in and I trimmed the paper into strips along with the left overs from another colour co-ordinated paper and fixed to white card. But stamping the sentiment on this uneven surface was going to be impossible so I trimmed a sheet of heat resistant acetate to fit the front of the panel, stapled it in place, stamped the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black and heat set with Clear Embossing Powder.
I added one of the quote squares cut from another of the papers, added the Pink Fresh Studios "Let Your Heart Decide" puffy stickers and fixed to a panel of Simon Says Stamp black card.
All's well that end's well.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Gorgeous cards Kath :-) I saw them on FB and had to pop over to see how you managed to stamp the sentiment over the paper strips! now I know! Acetate, clever girlie ;-)

You are very resourceful! I would have probably just binned the paper and not even thought to do this! Great tip! :-)

  3. I would certainly never put you and epoxy stickers together but you have made some fabulous cards with them - and what a happy accident you had with the second card, it is beautiful too! Hugs, Anne xxx
