I'm On A Mission

Hi my friends, yesterday I was officially back in the cubbyhole, on a mission to get up to speed with the crafty list, kick start the 2020 fund raising production line for Brodie's Machu Picchu World Challenge and play with some of the new products that arrived in the cubbyhole before and during the Christmas festivities. It's going to be one of those "crazy/cram in as much crafting as I can" kind of weeks before everything grinds to a halt for Creativation 2020 when I'll be glued to my laptop watching all the new product demos and Facebook Lives from my adorable Professor, videos from my "lucky to be attending" friends, Zoe and Stacy and lots of BTS snippets from my sweet friend Mario.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner I've been playing around with some ideas for "gotta be quick and easy to batch make" cards and I'm sharing Card No 1
I began by creating a stencil by die-cutting Sizzix Stencil Film using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Falling Hearts Thinlits die. If you don't have the stencil film, you could use thin acetate or card.
I fixed an A2 panel of Kraft Card to my Glass Media Mat using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix Sticky Grid Sheet, taped the stencil on top and applied Picket Fence Distress Ink using a mini round blending tool.
I cleaned the stencil and will store it with the die to use again.
I die-cut the Falling Hearts Thinlits and Simon Says Stamp Love Shadow from Simon Says Stamp Ultra White and Schoolhouse Red cardstock. I fixed the red hearts randomly over the white inked hearts, layered the die cut sentiment and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
I trimmed the panel down and fixed to a panel of Simon Says Ultra White card die-cut Simon Says Wonky Rectangles die
I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Tiny Text Lower Thinlits from Ultra White card to complete the sentiment.
I matted the panel on to an A2 Kraft Card blank and added extra hearts to overlap on to the white panel.

Toodle-oo for now
