Today I'm sharing a card using the adorable images and snarky sentiments from Snarky Cat CMS392 along with the Bubbles Layering Stencil, both shipping in January.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than A2 and applied Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink through the Bubbles Layering Stencil using a mini round blending tool.
I stamped three different images from the stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, using Black Soot Distress Archival ink, coloured lightly with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink on the body and Twisted Citron on the eyes using a Distress Detailer Brush, fussy cut, added Ranger Glossy Accents to the noses and set aside to dry.
I added splatters of Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink to the background and stitching randomly around the edges of the panel. I stamped the sentiments with Black Soot Distress Archival ink on to strips of Distress Watercolor card, trimmed, fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium Matte and added hand stitched crosses.
I fixed the cats in place using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and matted the panel on to an A2 card covered with Idea-ology BlackOut card sanded back to reveal the Kraft Core.
I have a feeling this stamp set is going to a much-loved, well-used favourite. The cats with attitude are quirky and fun and who doesn't love a tongue in cheek snarky sentiment, suitable for young and old, male or female and all occasions. I'll be back soon to share another Creativation and Facebook Live project, in the meantime, have fun whatever you are creating.
