Sunshine Flower Gift Cards

Hi my friends, I've been busy busy busy over the last month or so, having fun with the new releases from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous/Sizzix and Ranger and have not had a chance to play with new goodies that arrived from Simon Says Stamp. I'm loving Simon's new zipper bags, perfect for keeping everything safe in one place. If truth be told, I had forgotten what was in there and was excited to dig in and have some playtime.

I decided to make some super easy gift cards using a mix of products - Blossom Field Embossing Folder from the Garden Greetings July Card Kit, Sunshine Flowers stamp set and Four Seasons Summer 6" x 6" papers from the Sunshine Flowers September Card Kit and All About You stamp set from the Make Magic release.
I began by trimming a sheet of Simon Says #120 Ultra White card, which came in one of the kits, in half, embossed with the beautiful Blossom Field Embossing Folder and trimmed to create 4 - 2.3/4" x 4.1/4" panels.
I matted the panels on to 3" x 4.1/2" panels of the Four Seasons Summer papers fixed in placed with Simon Says Dot Runner Adhesive
I inked the sentiments from Simon Says All About You stamp set with Intense Black ink and stamped on to strips of Simon Says Vellum
I inked the flower image from the Sunshine Flowers stamp set with Intense Black ink, stamped on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card and coloured with Distress Re-inkers.
I fussy cut the flowers, trimmed the Vellum strips with Tim Holtz Deckled Edge Trimmer and was ready to assemble.
I fixed the vellum at the back of the panels, added the flowers popped up on foam adhesive and Doodlebug Heart Shaped Sprinkles.
I matted the panels on to 3.1/4" x 4.3/4" white top folding card blanks.

I'll be back soon to share more playtime makes
Hugs Kath
