Hello my friends, I'm sharing another card I made using the Simon Says Stamp Love Story February Card Kit. The kit is still available to purchase and if you wish, you can also purchase individual items from the kit HERE. I used Simple Stories Love Story Vintage patterned paper and Big Bits Ephemera, Simon Says Slider Typewriter & Camera stamp set, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photobooth and Rainbow Splash Sparkly Hearts.
I trimmed the Simple Stories Love Story Vintage paper to be slightly smaller than an A2 White Card blank, inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink using a Tiny Blending Tool and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. I stamped the camera image, inked with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink on to a scrap of white card, sprinkled with Aged Mahogany Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set. There is a die available for the camera but I didn't have it so I trimmed to leave a small border. I stamped the slider panels and sentiments from the stamp set, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival on to white card, die-cut with the typewriter slider die included in the kit. I coloured the white areas on the camera and the slider panels with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink using a Detailer Waterbrush.I chose a Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Photobooth picture which was already coloured and matched the colours on the patterned paper, trimmed to fit inside the camera slider panel and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. To finish, I added a butterfly from the Simple Stories Big Bits Ephemera pack and Simon Says Rainbow Splash Sparkly Hearts.
Happy Crafting and have fun with whatever you're making.
Hugs Kath xxx
