The Best Laid Plans

Morning Folks....and no crafty stuff to share today.....I'm afraid I have my "moaning minnie" hat on today....you all know by now of my disastrous day on Monday when my computer decided to play silly beggars....well these things never comes in ones.....on Friday my car decided it didn't want to play either....stranded at my local shopping centre......started OK but when I let out the clutch...it stuttered and ground to a halt.....and I got the impression it wanted to go but couldn't.....tried several times but it was having none of it.... waited about ten minutes...tried again and off it went quite happily.....strange. Well the same thing happened on Sunday but this time it was belching smoke and there was a terrible smell of burning.....managed to gingerly drive it home and booked it into my local garage......too busy to fix it this week because they are closed this weekend for a local holiday....so it will be Wednesday next week. Now I am a very patient laid back kind of girl with people....but not with machines....I hate when things don't work and I want them fixed NOW....but no amount of throwing my toys out of the pram is going to work with the man at the garage.....so I am like a bear with a sore head. What is it with me and machines at the moment....I am beginning to feel I am on somebody's hit list.
The crafty schedule for this week has gone for a burton and I think my mojo has joined it.
What's the solution I wonder......well in the great scheme of things......I have had a couple of minor hiccups....so it's stop feeling sorry for yourself.....a good talking to and a kick up the bum is required.
"The Budster" and I are off for our morning stroll and you know the old saying "be careful what you wish for" well.....yes the weather has cooled down considerably......in fact by 100 degrees.....it is cold windy...in fact it's freezing.....so it's back to the snuggly fleece...but who knows it may just blow away all the doom and gloom and Chez Kath will be back to a happy crafting place again.......catch up with you all later.
Hugs Kath xxxxxxx

  2. What a nightmare Kath! You sound like you're having a similar week to me! Someone reversed into my new car which is a month old on Sunday night and has caused around £1000 worth of damage. I had to wait in for hours yesterday until someone picked the car up and another company brought me a courtesy car. It could take them 10 days to fix it which I think is incredible! Going on holiday at the end of next week, taking our car to France - if we get it back in time that is! Grrrrr Hope the sun shines for you later and your mojo reappears. Hugs, Lainy xxx

  3. Oh Kath - it never rains but it pours as they say. You are having a rough time of it with the machinery. Hope the walk with Buddy helped to calm the nerves and recharge the batteries.
