Something Completely Different Challenge

Morning Folks....well Oliver will be arriving any minute and that's Grandma's day completely mapped out....so without anymore ado...let's cut to the chase.  At long last I have managed to find some time to play along at a fabulous new challenge blog.....

brought to us from the mega talented .... Carol
one of my teamies from the former TYI and
my lovely bloggy bud...the super duper talented
Dawn is on the DT

And this is really something completely different......a new challenge each month with a different theme each week......this month it's "TWINCHIES" and the theme this week is

"BIRDS"
As you all know how much I love my feathered friends......but this is totally out of my comfort zone and of course that is why it's called a challenge.... not one to do anything by halves.....I have got not just ONE TWINCHIE (which if you don't know is 2" x 2").... but FOUR.......hope this counts....and made them into a card.....and please let me down gently Carole.....you so know that this isn't my thing.

Cardstock....Brown Linen
Background Stamps:Hero Arts Old Letter Writing
Penny Black: Enjoy Collection
Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads
Antique Linen...Brushed Corduroy...Walnut Stain
Versafine: Onyx Black
Leaves: Hero Arts..Scattered Leaves Stamp Set
Sentiment: Hero Arts Share The Laughter
Button: Basic Grey Granola
Twine from stash
And do you know what.....I had great fun and really enjoyed making this card......so why don't you pop along and join in the fun.   Well off to spend the day with one cute little fella.....another glorious day forecast but oh dear.....later in the week SNOW  for some parts of Scotland.....WHAT.. are you having a laugh ?.....SNOW IN JUNE.....oh yes....it has happened before....catch up with you all tomorrow when normal service will be resumed.....it will be just another crafting day at the cubbyhole.
Hugs Kath xxxxxx
