Ooooh...I do love ribbon

Morning folks....I had just the most fun Saturday morning at Simply Create....with the lovely Judy and of course Mrs Simply Create herself....the fabulous Jacqui and all those other lovely crafters sitting entranced by Judy's demo.    Judy is just the bees knees when it comes to colour work and made me realise how much I still have to learn.    Big thank you to Jacqui who treated us all to a yummy sandwich lunch from the Alford Bistro.....you are too kind Mrs but as always the time passes too quickly and as I left to go home it started to rain.   By the time I reached home the sun was out again but not in Alford.....they were hit by a huge thunder and lightning storm.....the main street was like a river and the store owners were kept busy piling up sandbags to stop the rain invading their premises and then just to add insult to injury they had a power cut.....poor Judy...demo-ing in the dark....now that is a bit of a challenge.   Will I pack the inflatable...the waders and a torch when it's my turn next Saturday.
And what am I doing today.....well I am sorting out some gorgeous ribbons that arrived in the post on Friday.....you all know how much I love ribbon.....in fact you could say I am a bit of an addict.....and even I was speechless when I opened the box.....
