and a little bit of crafty cheating.....the stem on this image stops short of the last set of leaves but I wanted to tie my ribbon around it.....so restamped the image and cut out the stem section cutting off the leaves and added it on to make the stem longer.....can you see the join.....say NO...unless you want me to have a hissy fit.
And would you believe it doesn't fit in with any of my favourite challenges this week.....so it was just a card made for fun.....but I guarantee you might be seeing rather a lot of this gorgeous image.
Today is Brodie's school sports day....fingers crossed that the weather holds up and no doubt there will be some fun photo opportunities. Will catch up with you all tomorrow for Sneaky Peek Friday.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: sadly yesterday turned into a very dark day....and my heart goes out to the families and friends of all those innocent people killed in Whitehaven....brings you right back down to earth with a bump.
Beautiful card, so much work has gone into it and no I can't see the join. Have a good time at the sports day. Go Brodie!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite card I've seen with the hydranga stamp,Kath.
ReplyDeleteI love how you did the background with the dots and flowers stamp and the stripe panel on the side You are so blessed with your talent.
My prayers go out for the people in Whitehaven and all who are touched by this. Hugs and love.
Gorgeous card Kath. Love that image. There was an enormous, beautiful hydrangea in the garden of the house where I was brought up and it looked amazing.
ReplyDeleteI think Brodie got a great day for his sports. I can remember sometimes my kids' sports days getting cancelled and rearranged and ending up being the first day it was reasonable weather. I can also remember standing there absolutely chittering it was so cold!!
It is dreadful for these poor families in Whitehaven, can't imagine how they feel.
