What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks...I had a fabulous day out yesterday with my bestest buddies....the terrible twins...only kidding girls...my Fiskars buddy Ann and my "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" buddy Anne...they are absolute sweethearts and boy oh boy did we have a fun day hurtling along the country roads of Aberdeenshire all in the name of coffee...chat...lunch and shopping and look who we met at Rustiques....is it Sir Lancelot...The Tin Man...Our Knight in Shining Armour or just the latest in burglar deterrents.
but it's back to reality and work...
Of course it's Wednesday and that means it's time to play along with Julia and all her lovely crafting buddies over at WOYWW....so what's on my workdesk today...this month's Ribbon Girl DT kit has arrived...as always it's gorgeous and I can't wait to get playing...
but sadly it won't be today....I need to get my thinking cap on and come up some ideas using these yummy delicious papers from Martha Stewart and a Timmie Configuration box for my Christmas In July Workshop at The Papeterie at the end of the month...they say the camera doesn't lie....not true....I wish you could see these gorgeous embossed and flocked snowflakes in real life...
I can't believe the value for money on this workshop...I have a sneaky feeling that Charlotte has got her sums wrong this time...the lucky folks who got their bums on seats PDQ are getting a Configuration Box...all the papers and bits and pieces to decorate it and if that wasn't enough...they will be taking home the very same Martha Stewart Paper Pack of ...24 - 12"x12" Double Sided Christmas Gorgeousness...that's all this year's Christmas cards sorted then. Unfortunately the workshop is fully booked but hey if there was enough demand...I'm sure I could be persuaded to do it all over again.
and thank goodness I kept this....
the measurements for prepping the papers for each size of the boxes kindly supplied by Tim at his Artsycrafts Workshop.  Now I know why Mario's prepping is spot on...each paper insert fits perfectly...thanks guys... this is going to save me all that measuring and faffing around....so I'm off to make a cuppa and then it will be time to....GO CONFIGURE.
Catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  11. Amazing how that colour prevails - there you have a fab kit from the Ribbon Girl to echo the summery watery feeling, and yet you have the MS papers in same tone for Christmas. No doubt the box will be a triumph, so carry on configuring!

  25. Looks like you and your friends had an awesome day out and about. Love that snowflake paper. I am going to have to make sure to get some of that! Has TH put out a list of cutting dimensions besides the one he gives out at his class. I have two boxes but keep putting off doing them cause I just don't want to measure. Thanks for your great post. Have fun with that ribbon girl box! Vickie #44
