Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 171

Morning folks...yes it's Saturday and time to join in the fun over at Penny Black Saturday. Fabulous entries last week for the Monochromatic Challenge...in all colours of the rainbow...thanks again for taking time out to play along...we really do appreciate it.   The lucky winner has been posted so pop on over...it may be YOU.
The challenge this week is...
DOWN ON THE FARM
and you have loads of gorgeous cute Penny Black critters to choose from....
sadly I don't have any moo cow...baaa sheep...grunty piggy or cock-a-doodle doo chicky images so I went for this adorable little Thelwell look-a-like pony


Penny Black: Heart To Heart
I created the background with the Baby Wet Wipe technique....easy peasy....just dip the wipe into a spot of Distress Ink Re-inker....Stormy Sky and Peeled Paint and swipe over the card...a quick trick when time isn't on your side.  Then I overstamped with Penny Black: Pointille inked with Stormy Sky and Penny Black: Fantasy inked with Brushed Corduroy
Tim Holtz: On the Edge Die "On The Fence coloured with Brushed Corduroy
Flowers: Prima
Pearl Brad: American Crafts
Twine from stash
Sentiment: My Little Shoebox...Mini Alphabet Stickers...Lipstick Red

    Hi Kath, first of all thanks for a fantastic workshop. I love my canvas, and I really enjoyed making it. Might try doing one for my daughter(s)!

    I see that fence again here and I really think I'm going to have to get that die. Looks really useful.

    I love this card that little Thelwell type pony is a real fun image and you've made a lovely scene. Think I might need that pony too cos Poppy loves ponies, she'd love to be old enough for lessons.

    The Thelwell pony is delightful & I do like the way your "Pointille" picks up the dotty effect of "Fantasy". Hope you've had a good day & have your feet up by now.
