Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Yuletide Gatherings

Hi Folks, I'm finishing off the week by sharing a Christmas Card I made for the Facebook Live Launch of the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous 2019 Christmas Collection using Yuletide Gatherings and Christmastime 2 stamp sets. If you missed the Facebook Live, you can head over and check out the amazing products and inspirational samples on Tim's Blog HERE

I began by trimming Distress Watercolor card to 5.1/2" square and stamped Lumberjack inked with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink to create a very soft subtle background. I inked the pine branch from Yuletide Gatherings with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks and stamped around the edges.
I inked the cone from Yuletide Gatherings with Vintage Photo Distress Archival and stamped at the top and bottom of the card. I re-inked the image and stamped a second time on some of the cones with Ground Espresso to darken and create a variation of colour. I stamped the sentiment from Christmastime 2 with Vintage Photo but felt it was too light so I re-inked again with Ground Espresso, so easy when you're using the Stamp Platform, every stamper's best friend.
The detail on these stamps is amazing, you can see every prickly needle on the pine branches and the cones even have their own built in highlights. I sprinkled Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel over the panel and heat set from underneath until melted. This Embossing Enamel is predominantly white but also has little flecks of gold and glitter.
I tapped a Versamark ink pad around the edges, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder and heat set until melted.
I matted the panel on to white card and Idea-ology Metallic KraftStock and fixed to a 6" square White Card Blank.
Have you made a start on your cards for this year? If I remember correctly, I had almost filled my Christmas card box by this time last year. This year, I have been Christmas card mass producing but all for Brodie's Fundraising Christmas Craft Fairs so my box is looking very forlorn and empty.
If I don't get a wiggle on, I may have to resort to drastic measures, attend some of his Christmas Craft Fairs and buy all the cards I made back or tootle down to my local M&S. Seriously, I'm not kidding!!! Have a great weekend whatever you are planning and I'll see you all on Monday to share my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and some exciting news.
In the meantime, Happy Crafting.
Hugs Kath xxx
