Tim Holtz/Sizzix Chapter 1 - Bunny Games Thinlits

Hi my friends, I'm sharing another card I made for the release of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Chapter 1 using Bunny Games and Bold Text Thinlits with the gorgeous Doily 3D Texture Fade. I began by colouring a 4.1/2" x 6.1/2" panel of Distress Watercolor card with Speckled Egg, Bundled Sage and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks. I die-cut the panel using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bold Text Thinlits. I spritzed the back of the panel lightly with water, embossed using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Doily 3D Texture Fade and lightly dragged the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide across the raised areas to accent the texture.

I fixed the panel to white card of the same size, die-cut the Bold Text Thinlits again 4 times from Distress Watercolor card and puzzle pieced the letters back into place.  I coloured the top layer of the "THERE" letters with Kitsch Flamingo, Fossilized Amber and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks using a mini round blending tool and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I coloured a scrap of Distress Watercolor card with Kitsch Flamingo and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks, die cut the eggs and banners using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bunny Games Thinlits and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium and Foam Adhesive.

I fixed Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to scraps of Distress Watercolor and Grey, Pink and Black Classic KraftStock grey and die-cut the adorable bunnies.

I assembled using my trusty squeezers from 'Tim Holtz/Sizzix Shaping Kit and fixed on the panel with foam adhesive to create dimension.

I coloured scraps of white card with Fossilized Amber and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks, die-cut the daisies and arranged around the sentiment. I coloured the edge of the panel with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool.

To finish I added splatters of Ground Espresso Distress Paint, matted the panel on to white and turquoise card, trimmed to leave a small border and matted on to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
