Simon Says - Summer Fun

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

SUMMER FUN

I created an Art Journal page in my Stamperia A5 Stone Paper Mixed Media Journal remembering happy days spent at the beach. I used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Rays, Splash and Speckles Layering Stencils and Idea-ology Snapshots Volume 2 and Archives Collage Paper to create my beach scene.

I spritzed Speckled Egg Distress Spray Stain on to the Art Journal pages and dried. I sprayed Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Spray through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Rays Layering Stencil randomly over the pages, spritzed with water and patted with kitchen towel to mute the colour slightly.

I added the photos from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Snapshots Volume 2, fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I applied Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Splash Layering Stencil randomly over the pages using a Mini Round Blending Tool.

I trimmed out the individual letters from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Archives Collage Paper and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium to create the page title.

I added the ferris wheels and torn strips of wording from the Archives Collage Paper and to finish, applied Distress Texture Paste Opaque through the Speckles Layering Stencil.
