Hello my friends, I'm back to share another trio of cards I made for the YouTube Live launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Everyday 2 release using Embroidery, the third of the floral stamp sets in the release. I have to confess that I have a thing for floral images and these beauties stole my heart the minute I saw them. If you missed the Live, you can always catch up with the release and amazing inspiration from the Makers on Tim's YouTube Channel or Blog.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to create 3 - 4" x 5.1/4" panels, inked each image with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink, sprayed with water, stamped repeatedly on to the panels and dried.I smooshed Picked Raspberry and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks on to my Media Mat, spritzed with water and tapped the panels into the ink, dried and tapped back in repeatedly to pick up the remaining droplets until I was happy with the backgrounds. I inked the images with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and stamped on to the panel with the matching images on the background. I coloured the images with Bundled Sage, Picked Raspberry and Scorched Timber Distress Watercolor Pencils using a Distress Detailer Waterbrush. Some of the flowers conveniently landed on areas of Picked Raspberry on the backgrounds, so I left those uncoloured.I inked the script stamp from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous French Garden with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and stamped randomly on the panels. To finish I machine stitched the panels on to Distress Kraft HeavyStock trimmed to A2 and fixed to A2 white top and side folding card blanks.I'll be back soon to share more cards made with the Everyday 2 release. In the meantime, have fun with your stamps when they arrive.
Have fun with whatever you're making
Hugs Kath xxx
