But...you know me there's always a BUT...I've fallen out of love with the dark cosy look winter curtains...all those years of watching DIY make-over shows taught me that a change of "not going to break the bank" accents can create a whole new look and it definitely needs something to gee it up a little bit but do I stick with the RED and go for a lighter contemporary look...I do love these Marks & Sparks cushions...
they do say the devil is in the detail and going by past experiences...no doubt there will be much pondering before that devil of a decision is made but with the grandkiddies arriving this morning that particular task is on hold until Friday when I'll be calling in the cavalry...the perfect retail therapy outing for the "shop 'til you drop" Friday Girls aka the "guaranteed to blow the budget" team.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteOoh I love the little touches of red in the room and those cushions are fab so If they do matching curtains I would go for them. I'm not a green fan but I also think the red adds a touch of warmth.
ReplyDeleteI love the green, but have to say i love the red even more, but then i do have a brown and red living room.
ReplyDeleteDefo RED !!!
ReplyDeleteKath keep your curtains but change the cushions and lamps to a different colour and you will save the pennies and change the look of your room at the same time.

ReplyDeleteLoving the green leaves - always a restful colour - not a huge fan of red, but OK as an accent. Feeling decidely cooler today - had a new hairdresser as mine had departed to another salon- asked for "funky not frumpy" and got a very short funky chicken look! Very short back and sides and spikey on top - but I love it. Cluck cluck....X
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, the room looks lovely, I love the cushion but the green curtains are also very nice. I'm sure you'll make a good choice, you always do...Trish
