Time Flies...

Hi folks...I'm sure you'll all agree that time doesn't half fly...a bit of a take on words this morning because it's my turn to post over at the Craftwork Cards blog...I haven't had much time for crafting lately and it felt so good to be back in the cubbyhole but I had no idea what I was going to make for my skidding in by the seat of my pants project this month...that is until I spotted these home decor items in my local Aldi...
great quality despite the cheap as chips price and perfect for using up the bits and pieces I have left from my favourite Craftwork Cards Collection to date...the gorgeous TIME FLIES...perfect for the less is more...clean and simple...minimalist "ditch the clutter" look I've been trying to achieve with my recent home make-over...quick and easy to make and perfect for Christmas or Birthday Gifts too...with 36 papers in the Time Flies Paper Pad...44 Butterfly Die Cuts and 24 Flower Die Cuts...I reckon you could have your Christmas presents pretty well sorted in a jiffy...

the frames can be free standing or hung on the wall and true to form Mrs "Can't Make Her Mind Up" is currently playing around with arrangements until I find one that I like...
the projects may have been quick and easy to make but the photography of the frames was a nightmare...I left out the glass to prevent glare but found myself balanced precariously on my workdesk to take the shot...the mat may be non stick but hey let me tell you it's also very slippery slidey...
all I added were some black sparkly chipboard letters that have been kicking around in the cubbyhole since the year dot and tiles made from my favourite Craftwork Cards Stamp Set....Printers Block inked with Timmie's Dusty Concord Distress Ink Pad which just happened to be a perfect match...

Did you know that Craftwork Cards are on PINTEREST...why don't you head over and check out the inspirational product boards showcasing lots of gorgeous makes from my fellow teamies.
The car's loaded up ready for my trip to The Papeterie...I'm looking forward to a day of Melt Pot Fun but I'll be back tomorrow to share my Ribbon Girl Blog Colour Challenge makes...in the meantime you enjoy your weekend whatever you've got planned...toodle-oo for now.
Hugs Kath xxx

  21. Hi Kath, great find and beautiful result. I love what you did with these. I don't like the idea of you climbing or balancing to take photos (though great job by the way).
A wee suggestion, if you don't mind me saying..... could you maybe photograph your projects on a craft mat on the floor using the zoom button on your camera? Safer for you, that's the health and safety & risk assessment training in me coming out, sorry.
Give Buddy a hug for me too
    Alexandra xx
