I was determined this project was not going to end up in the "oh no...not another wall-hanger" box and as luck would have it I had a rare lightbulb moment and remembered the frames I'd bought for the TV den make-over and never got round to using...
I love the Leaf Prints stamps and the new Linen Mini Layering stencil and don't you just love when a plan comes together...
a perfect fit with my leaf motif curtains and cushions..
and I had so much fun...I made a matching pair...
But if I don't deal with the grass issue soon...we'll have to resort to hiring a combine harvester so today is going to be an outdoors day and if that doesn't guarantee Mr Sunshine taking to his heels and hiding behind the clouds...my name's not "spoke too soon" Kath.
Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of September and that means...STAMPtember over at Simon Says Stamp...woohoo a whole month of fabulous stamps...dies and inspiration...
not forgetting there will also be a brand new technique remix tag over at "12 Tags".
Catch up with you all later.
Hugs Kath xxx
Beautiful leaf prints Kath and I love that you made a matching pair. Hope you get the garden sorted and that we get some more of those warm end of summer days xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful prints Kath. They look fabulous hanging on the wall.
ReplyDeleteSo far the threatened thunder storms have missed this corner of the UK but although we have had a few chilly mornings the days are still very humid but I'm trying not to complain as it is great not having to wear a coat/jacket for work.
Have 'fun' in the garden.

Beautiful layers Kath and two wonderful additions to your wall! We expected cloudy skies yesterday but had a lovely warm and sunny day to go to see Anthony Gormley's statues on Crosby beach. Hope you get your garden sorted before it rains again! Hugs, Chrisx

ReplyDeleteOooh wow how lucky are you Kath with the weather 5 days that's great and l hope it continues we this morning had lots of fine rain but at the moment the sun has showed it's appearance so hopefully it will stay around for a while.....your framed pictures look amazing l love the stamps and the colours used your so talented and we are so lucky to have you share your creations and projects thank you ....have a lovely day x
ReplyDeleteKath, you are so clever...the matching set of prints is just too fab for words. Gosh, I wish I had an ounce of your talent!.
ReplyDeleteLucky you with the weather as well, woke up to nasty rain this morning, although it's trying to clear up right now...dry but still an overall grey sky :(. Still, I've got something to look forward to as I'm due to pick up my new kitten next week...it's going to be fun introducing him to my dog and grown up cat lol. Luckily my dog loves her cat cousin so I'm sure they're going to get on really well together.
I hope you manage to takle the grass before it takes over the entire garden.
Bejay xx
