and the theme for this week is...
CELEBRATE
We are celebrating our 6th Anniversary on the Monday Challenge so we thought we should do it in style and use Simon Says Stamp products this week. Obviously an anniversary is an extra special occasion so this week Simon Says Stamp will be giving away not one but TWO $50 gift vouchers to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store...yes there will be 2 winners this week!
I decided to make a card using Simon Says Stamp Premium Dye Inks...Duckling and Cloudy Sky and the Moroccan Stencil to create the background. I masked off the bottom section and coloured with Catkin
but couldn't resist including SIMON himself from Tim Holtz Crazy Dog Stamps along with his lead and a pile of bones as an anniversary treat. I used the Molotow Masking Liquid Marker to mask off the white areas on his body and coloured the rest with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Markers using the Ranger Detailer Water Brush.I coloured the circle from the Bundle of Stitched Shapes the same way and used Tim Holtz Numbers Layering Stencil from Set 7 and Walnut Stain Distress Ink to add the all important number along with a Cloudy Sky star and stamped "Celebrate" from Tim Holtz Crazy Talk around the edges using Ranger Archival Black ink...
and finished off giving all the stars a little touch of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter sparkle...
You can find all the products I used over at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp online store...just click on the links below...
