Simon Says - Spritz and Splatter

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
SPRITZ AND SPLATTER
I had lots of fun adding spritz and splatter to the background and die-cuts on my Art Journal page. I also used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Linked Circles Layering Stencil from Set 52, Eccentric and Field Notes stamp sets and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Theory, Specimen and Modern Floristry Thinlits to decorate.

I began by spritzing Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Spray on to the journal pages, spritzed with water and dried. I stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Eccentric randomly on the pages, inked with Salvaged Patina and Vintage Photo Distress Archival inks. I applied Distress Grit Paste through the Mini Linked Circles Layering Stencil, sprinkled with Salvaged Patina and Antique Linen Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set once the paste was dry.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Theory Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. At this point, I was kicking myself that I hadn't chosen a shorter quote !!!
I re-cut the letters from the Idea-ology KraftStock Neutral pack, fixed in place and drybrushed with White Gesso to lighten the letters slightly.

I die-cut panels from Distress Watercolor card coloured with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Specimen Thinlits and stamped images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Field Notes inked with Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink. I stamped extra images randomly on the background inked with Vintage Photo and Evergreen Bough Distress Archival inks. I added a strip of Idea-ology Linen Tape and Remnant Rubs, inked the edges of the panel with the Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink pad and fixed the panels in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I fixed an Idea-ology Photobooth pic inside the slide folder, added Idea-ology Hardware Heads and a file tab die-cut from the Idea-ology KraftStock Neutral pack.
I die-cut the flowers and leaves using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Modern Floristry Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card coloured with Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Sprays and Idea-ology KraftStock Neutral pack. I fixed the leaves in place with Distress Collage Medium and the flowers popped up with Simon Says 3D White Foam Squares.
I coloured the detail on an Idea-ology Adornment Heart with Picket Fence Distress Crayon and fixed the heart, hanging on thread, to the back of the slide folder.
To finish, I covered the slide folder with scrap paper and added splatters of Vintage Photo Distress Spray Stain to the flowers and randomly on the background.
