Allsorts Challenge..Week 15...maybe not

Morning folks and yes I am back to my normal self...well as normal as I get....managed to hold on to my chicken dinner so assuming that I have kissed goodbye to the old tummy upset and am raring to go....need to be...a busy busy week ahead .....but I have actually managed a challenge card....or thought I had.
The challenge this week on Allsorts is from my lovely bloggy bud Jules and you are not going to believe this....shock horror.....another case of rushing in where angels fear to tread.   Jules has given us a fabulous sketch to work from this week but she also wants to see a bit of tearing.....now you know me....I love to rip it up with a bit of tearing and distressing so off I went to the cubbyhole and got ripping......and yes I'm sure you can guess what happens next......I completely forgot about the sketch.....and I can hear Dawny P laughing her head off in the background....this is becoming a bit of a worry....do you think the old gal is losing the plot or worse still her marbles....and if you have been over to check out the challenge.....the instructions are in the biggest red font ever.....how could I have messed it up.
Now obviously I can't enter the card for the challenge but by gum....I took time out from a mag project to make it.....so you are going to look at it whether you like it or not.....I did think that I might be able to rejig it.... but even I....a many times Olympic Gold Medal Re-Jigger would have my work cut out to make it even faintly resemble the sketch.......can you tell I am a bit miffed at myself.....in fact.....furious would be a better word.
Papers: MME....Merry Days of Christmas
Image: Penny Black...Happy and Cool
Sentiment: Hero Arts.....Create Your Own Snowman
Snowflake Image: Woodware...Dashing Reindeer
Snowflake: no idea...found a big box of them when I was tidying out
the old cubbyhole
Buttons & Twine from stash
lots of ripping and tearing...a bit of inking and doodling all finished off with a generous helping of the old Glamour Dust and apologies to my cute little snowfella for totally cocking up his debut appearance....but I may have an excuse apart from the dopey old mare thing.....I am in love.....totally head over heels...completely  smitten with these gorgeous.... gorgeous...gorgeous papers from SEI.....called Winter Song.......and didn't I say that the colour combo this year is going to be DUCK EGG BLUE and RED....do keep an eye out for some cards featuring these beauties coming soon.....ssshhh....it's a secret.
and oh my giddy aunt....who in their right mind left a cup of coffee right next to my precious papers...off to sort that idiot out and perhaps look for my marbles at the same time......if I get time....I will redo my Allsorts Challenge card.....sorry Jules.  In the meantime have a great day everyone....me I would just settle for a "everything going according to plan" kind of a day....but that's unlikely to happen......catch up with you all later.
Big Hugs Kath xxxxxxx

  18. Evening Kath

First hope you are feeeling better, had it last week so know the feeling.

On to your card, it's gorgoes, as for the mishap, well I'll let you into a secret - a few weeks ago when Dawny P did us a sketch I was so pleased with my lovely green DT card, only to realise when I posted it the theme was pink. Was some comfort because Dawny P had the same prob. So some quick amendemts were in order all round.

Whata do they say about ladies of a certain age and all that ? Lies, all lies.
