And another astonishing fact..... in the midst of all my Christmas mag stuff......I have managed to find a little play time and made a card for the challenge over at Carol's Sketch Fun. I do love a good sketch and my fabby Funky Hand teamie Carol just comes up with them time after time.....so if you haven't joined in yet.....pop over....take a look and join in the fun.......and this was a great excuse to use one of my new Hero Arts Cling Stamps and they are fabulous....ink and stamp beautifully....OK the card is a bit basic and hopefully when I get more time......will be trying out lots of different techniques with these gorgeous stamps.
Papers: MME....Andrea Victoria
Stamps: Hero Arts Cling.....Floral Garden
Sentiment: Papermania Alphabet Stamps
Ribbon and twine from stash
Flowers: Prima
Button: Basic Grey
And talking of Hero Arts.....I'm afraid I have been very very naughty.......I had to visit my local crafty shop...."Simply Create" today to pick up some hot...hot Christmas papers for my mag stuff and a big thank you to Jacqui for pulling out all the stops to get me this latest release so quickly.....Jacqui knows that I am a big HA fan and while she was busy with some customers she asked if I would like to pop through to the back and have a rummage in a box of brand new HA Christmas Stock just arrived but not yet on sale....."well not really fussed....but I thought I would humour her".....are you kidding....what a silly question....and you can guess the rest.....how could I resist.......believe me us stamp addicts have absolutely no will power......that's this month budget gone down the swanny again......bread and jam I fear until September....and I have bad news I fear this terrible addiction is incurable...but not to worry....I am putting on a brave face and will just have to learn to live with it.
And for all those of you out there who love crafty deliciousness too.....I have some stuff being delivered today for my "NEW CUBBYHOLE BLOG CANDY".....you may have to wait a wee while until I get my feet cleared.....it is crafting pandemonium here at the minute.... but keep your eyes peeled for some sneaky peeks....in the run up to the big day.
Catch up with you all later.......Hugs Kath xxxxxxx

Another gorgeous card Kath, definitely not as plain as you make it out to be. Happy to hear that old Mr Hub is playing along nicely again after being at threat of being replaced with a more youthful mr Hub.

Hi Kath
ReplyDeleteA brilliant card (as always).
Love the delicious ribbon and flower. It sets everything off a treat.
How nice to stroke all of those brand new crafting goodies ahead of time - you are right though. Us addicts have little or no willpower.
You are so lucky to have jam on your bread though Kath. We have to manage with dry bread - which we toast on a Sunday as a treat!!! LOL!!
Thanks for all your inspiration.
Love Jules xx
