Carol's Sketch Fun.....Week 11

Hi folks.....what is the world coming to when I have to wait in a queue to post on my own blog....cheeky blighter and he has well and truly taken over my chair.....how naughty is he....gone are my relaxing cuppas in between crafty sessions......mind you I was beginning to think that maybe it wasn't such a good idea and another mistake I fear is having the computer in here too......far too much time spend blog hopping and drinking coffee when I should be working.
But blog hopping or not....I have managed to get a challenge card done.....I couldn't miss out on the fabulous sketch challenges from my lovely Funky Hand teamie Carol and once again a great sketch to work with......why don't you pop over to Carol's Sketch Fun and join in....there is a fabby prize on offer too.

Papers: MME....Bloom & Grow Collection
Alphabets: Basic Grey White Choc Chip inked
with Tim Holtz Distress Ink....Brushed Corduroy
Adornit...Tiny Etched Natural
I have had quite a few e-mails about the twine I use on my cards and where do I buy it...wait for it... B&Q ... a huge ball of natural jute twine......£3.29 and if you find it's too thick....very easy to separate into indiviudal strands......great value and it will last you forever......
which department was it in...... I can't remember....I was on a bit of a mission at the time.....the usual dash around the store looking for that one elusive member of staff who may be able to help you..... when I spotted it and thought.....oooh....I must have some of that.
And I hold my hands up....I was a tad grumpy yesterday....trust old blabbermouth...no secrets here....yes I had lost my scissors....not just any old scissors...my trusty Non-Stick Fabulous Fiskars Scissors that I can't live without......well I hunted high and low....nowhere to be seen....and they are not exactly shrinking violets....big...bright orange with black blades......and thank goodness they have turned up.....in a black bag of old stash going to the skip on Monday......wow what a relief.     I know it's sad but I love these scissors...they are from my Fiskars Demo Kit and I use them every day...they have probably made millions of cuts and I must admit I have never ever cleaned them as you can see........

totally gunged up with little bits of double sided tape....glue and goodness knows what else and they still cut organza ribbon perfectly.....no this is not an advert for Fiskars but if you are looking for a great pair of scissors.......these won't let you down and will last you a lifetime.....and I'm so happy I found them before they went to the big scissor heaven in the sky.
Well that's all for today folks......I am off to deliver a birthday card and pressies to a very special little man who is 3 today.... my grand nephew Ben .....catch up with you all tomorrow when I will have another challenge card to share and then maybe it will be time for the big reveal.
