Hi folks...we all know that most punches will only punch through lightweight card and paper and if the design is a bit intricate...they can be temperamental...the card can be too thick or the paper too thin but
FISKARS will soon be launching their new range of
POWER PUNCHES in the UK...a new punch concept which makes light work of
THICK materials and I've been having a play...putting them through their paces...testing them out on chipboard, acetate, shrink plastic, cork, milk cartons, sticky back canvas...etcetera...
a sneaky peek of a project I made for Fiskars using Sticky Back Canvas...Mylar (the stuff that embossing folders and stencils are made from) and an aluminium can that I embossed...
or you can punch through Funky Foam to create your own customised stamps...
or use funky foam with an embossing folder to create unique punched shapes...
and surprise...surprise I have a Medium Flower Power Punch to give-away...
all you have to do is leave a comment on this post before Friday 25th September and I'll announce the winner on Saturday 26th...sorry but the give-away is open to UK residents only because of the weight of the punch.
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteFiskars punches have always been a favourite craft tool of mine. The only down side was being limited to using up to 120gsm card. The new punches will be very popular in the paper crafting community.
