Tim Holtz/Sizzix - Halloween Night

Happy Friday my friends, another week bites the dust and here we are, more than halfway through August already, crikey another year flying by. I'm back to share my third make for the YouTube Live launch of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Halloween 2023 collection, an Etcetera Tag with an autumnal Halloween theme using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Halloween Night, Artsy Leaves, Alphanumeric Bulletin and Classic Upper Thinlits and Cracked 3D Texture Fade.

I covered a small Etcetera Tag with Halloween Backdrops paper using Distress Collage Medium, sanded the edges to neaten once the paper was dry and added random inking using Twisted Citron and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide inks. I inked the script stamp from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Dearly Departed with Picket Fence Distress Paint using the small Distress Brayer, stamped randomly over the tag and applied Distress Grit Paste randomly oveer the bakground and around the edges using a palette knife. I inked the Cracked 3D Texture Fade with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink embossed on to a torn strip of Idea-ology Kraft Stock and fixed to the bottom of the tag with Distress Collage Medium Matte.

I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits from Distress Black HeavyStock and the left over embossed Kraft Stock and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Halloween Night Thinlits from Distress Black HeavyStock 3 times, layered to create dimension and die-cut the pumpkins from the Idea-ology Kraft Stock. I sanded the edges of the die-cuts and added faces to the pumpkins using Idea-ology Halloween Remnant Rubs.

I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Artsy Leaves from Idea-ology BlackOut KraftStock, sanded to reveal the kraft core and added the leaf stems die-cut from Idea-ology Kraft Stock.

I scribbled Picket Fence Distress Crayon over the Distress Grit Paste sections, rubbed into the texture with my finger and added small sections of Halloween Remnant Rubs over the background.

I fixed the Artsy Leaves and Halloween Night figures in place, popped up on black foam squares to add dimension.

To finish I added an Idea-ology Big Chat Sticker and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Classic Upper Thinlits die-cut 3 times from Distress Black HeavyStock.
