Behind The Scenes...Warts 'n All

Hi folks...I won't tell a lie...yesterday was a bit of a "dragged kicking and screaming into the cubbyhole" finale to the Everest Challenge Workshop kitting job...glorious sunshine streaming through the cubbyhole window is not the best motivation in the world for making a start on the "why did I leave "THE BIGGIE" until last"....120 frames to cut...60 from chipboard and not your cornflake packet stuff either...serious heavyweight chipboard and 60 from 300 gsm cardstock...
But once you get going it's never as bad as you think...just like that huge pile of ironing which by the way is my most hated household chore..a little bit of persuasive pyschology may be required and dangling the old carrot of a sunshine coffee break at the halfway point did the trick...

although there was another kicking and screaming tantrum before we pysched ourselves up for the next task...covering 60 panels with hessian...yes on the family room floor....drastic measures are called for when you're running out of space...
but that was yesterday...today I'm jumping for joy...shouting from the roof tops that it's all...
DONE...DUSTED...FINISHED...FINITO
and I have a plan for all that die-cutting waste
a little idea swimming around in my brain for the next Kath's Klub...a waste-not-want-not Crackled Texture Paste/Stamp-It Stencil-It cheeky little Wendy Vecchi project perhaps but that's a rainy day project....TODAY I'm planning on doing lots of this...
while The Furry Boy on the other hand...prefers spending his time snoozing in the shade...
but I'll be popping in from time to time to catch the lovely Julie Hickey on Ideal World/Create and Craft with the Craftwork Cards Pick Of The Day...you can find the show times HERE...
Enjoy your day whatever you're planning
Hugs Kath xxx
