Simon Says - Whatever The Weather

 Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

WHATEVER THE WEATHERT

I created a card as a reminder that, even on the cloudiest of days, you can be the sunshine in someone's life using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Flower Field, Funky Flowers, Bunny Games and Alphanumeric Tiny Type Lower Thinlits, Latticework Mini Layering Stencil and Simon Says Hello Sunshine to complete the sentiment.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4" and coloured with Hickory Smoke Distress Spray Stain and Scattered Straw/Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Sprays.

I spritzed the Latticework Mini Layering Stencil from Set 4 with Hickory Smoke Distress Spray Stain and laid on to the panel to create a monoprint effect.

I coloured Distress Watercolor card with Hickory Smoke Distress Spray Stain, die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Flower Filed Thinlits and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium Matte. I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Hello Sunshine stamp set, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

I fixed Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to scraps of Distress Watercolor and Black Alcohol Ink card, die-cut using Tim Holtz/Alphanumeric Tiny Type Lower Thinlits and fixed to the panel slightly offset.

I sprayed Idea-ology Bouquet Findings with Fossilized Amber Distress Spray Stain and Distress Oxide Spray, spritzed with water, scrunched up in paper towel and set aside to dry.

I fixed the Bouquet Findings in place with Distress Collage Medium and added leaves die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Floral 1 and daisies using Bunny Games Thinlits.

To finish I matted the panel on to Idea-ology Black KraftStock trimmed to be slightly larger and fixed to an A2 white card blank.
