Hi my friends, Simon Says have just launched Dear Friend, their latest release of fabulous products. You can check out all products HERE in the Simon Says Stamp store.
I decided to make small notecards using the super cute critters from the Caring Thoughts stamp set, coloured with Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils. I don't often craft with cutsie images but these cards were fun to make and whether you're young or old, who could resist the cuteness.
I stamped the image and sentiment from Caring Thoughts, inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink, on to a panel of Distress Watercolor card and coloured using Distress Watercolor Pencils and a Distress Detailer Brush.
I die-cut the image using a circle die, fixed to a Cotton Candy 4" square card and applied Distress Texture Paste Opague through Simon Says Falling Hearts Stencil.I stamped and coloured the images on the other two cards in the same way, stamped the sentiments, trimmed the panels to 3.1/2" square and fixed to 4" square Lemon Chiffon and Sea Glass card blanks.
I applied Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink through the Falling Heart Stencil and added Trinity Stamps Sweet Strawberry Heart Sprinkles to each card.I'll be back soon to share more makes using the Dear Friend release. Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Kath xxx

Very cute, indeed! However, here in the U.S.A. I avoid square cards and envelopes as the postal service charges more than the rectangular ones. Just for your information maybe others don't care, but with all the price increases, I try to be selective in my choices when I have the option.
ReplyDeleteLovely Kath, abit different to your usual style, but very cute.xx
