Simon Says - Paint It

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

As it's the first challenge for the month of May, the Design Team are showcasing products from one particular brand/company and we are all using the fabulous products from Dyan Revealey aka Dylusions. You don't have use these products to join in the challenge but if you have them, we would love to see how you use them.

The theme for this week is...

PAINT IT

I used Tim Holtz/Ranger "Back From The Vault" Distress Paints to colour one of the preprinted pages in my Dylusions Creative Dyary. I added stencilling using Dylusions Dyalog Border It Stencil, a sentiment quote from Borders and Quotes Colouring Sheets and doodled circles using Dylusions Paint Pens.

I selected one of the pre-printed pages in my Dylusions Creative Dyary and applied Forest Moss through the Dylusions Dyalog Border It Stencil using a mini round blending tool with a domed foam.

I added splatters of Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon Distress Paints to the background and coloured the flowers with a small paintbrush using Spun Sugar, Wild Honey, Villianous Potion, Crushed Olive and Forest Moss Distress Paints.

I stencilled Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Splotches Layering Stencil to match the circles on the opposite page and added Dylusions Creative Dyary Stickers from my stash.

I cut out flowers from another pre-printed page and the quote from Dylusions Borders and Quotes Colouring Sheets Book and coloured with Distress Paints.

To finish I doodled extra circles to match the circles already printed around the flowers and added highlights and dots to the flowers using Dylusions Black and White Paint Pens.
