Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - The Inspector

Happy Friday my friends, I'm sharing another card made using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Inspector on one of the left over "Creative Blocks" backgrounds from yesterday's playtime.

I stamped The Inspector, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink on to the panel of Distress Watercolor card from yesterday, stamped with Creative Blocks which I inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink and spritzed with water.
I coloured the image using Prize Ribbon, Rusty Hinge, Black Soot, Tattered Rose and Candied Apple Distress Watercolor Pencils, lifting the colour from the pencils using a Distress Detailer Brush.
I stamped the image on to masking paper, fussy cut and placed over the original stamped image.
I stamped the typography and compass images, inked with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide and Ground Espresso Distress Archival inks.
I removed the mask and stamped the border, playing card suits and text images, inked with Prize Ribbon and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks.
I added Idea-ology Specimen Remnant Rubs and sanded with a Distress Sanding Disk on a mini round blending tool, to make them less prominent
I fixed an Idea-ology Thoughts Label Sticker to a scrap of white card, trimmed to separate the words and fixed on the background with Black Foam Squares. I blended Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink around the edges, spritzed with water and dried.
I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.1/4", fixed to a panel of Distress Two-Tone Woodgrain card, trimmed to be 1/8" larger and fixed to a white card blank.

Enjoy your weekend, whatever you have planned. I'll be having fun with the new Media Surface Mat from Tim Holtz and Tonic Studios.
Designed to fit the Glass Media Mat, the Media Surface Mat measures 13.5" x 23" and features reinforced stitched rubber and weighted corners, allowing the mat to lay flat. The non-slip base and non-stick heat resistant top provide the ideal work surface for inks, paints, glues and your favourite mixed media techniques. Woohoo, plenty room to have lots of messy inky, painty fun and absolutely no more curly corners.

To see this new game changer in action, why don't you join Tim for the Live Launch and Demo on his YouTube Channel, Saturday 13th May at 9.00AM PT, 12 noon ET and 5.00PM if you're in the UK and no doubt, our genius Professor will have lots of handy hints and tips to share. Hope to see you there.
Have Fun and Happy Crafting
Hugs Kath xxx
