2 Sketches 4 You Challenge

The sketch this week at..........2 Sketches 4 You has been set by Kazan and although this week is going to be one of those nose to the grindstone kinda weeks.....I can't miss out on doing this sketch challenge...me thinks I am seriously addicted. Have you seen the new banner - it's gorgeous and has a definite FALL theme to it...OK it's Autumn for us...so I thought I would use that as my colourway this week using some of my favourite papers. I love the vintage look of these papers- they are so timeless.
As you can see the novelty of my Martha Stewart punch hasn't worn off yet. The gems started out their life as clear but I coloured them with a brown Sakura Identi-pen.

  • Brads: from my stash
  • Gems: Hero Arts
  • Flowers: Prima Artful Collage

    What a gorgeous card Kath! Love the colours and the gems on the dragonflys! Just in case it helps someone out, the stamps are the 'Best friends' clear choice set from Royal Langnickel, one of my favourite sets!

    Love the colours on this card, autumn being my favourite season.

    Great tip about colouring gems with a permanent pen, would never have thought of that.
