Basic Grey Challenge 3

The challenge on the Basic Grey Challenge this week is DISTRESSING and I do love ripping tearing and distressing my papers......I missed out on the first two..just not enough hours in the day and I know I could so easily get addicted to this one as well... it's been a really productive day.....a little bit of tidying up in the garden, all my ironing done, meal for tonight prepared and 2 challenges under my belt. I am getting a little bit more confident with the colour work and used Tim Holtz Distressing Inks on this gorgeous image kindly sent to me by the lovely Cass. Added some glossy accents to give the apples a bit of a sheen.

  • Papers: Basic Grey Sultry 6" x 6" Pack
  • Image: House Mouse...An Apple a Day "Hop-it"
  • Letters generated on the computer, cut out and inked
  • Word: American Craft Foam Thickers

    What a super card - love the combination of the BG paper and that fab image - and the glossy accents is just right on the apples
