Tag You're It Challenge

Well my outpouring of emotion this morning has really helped me put into perspective things which I cannot change and it just goes to show that it does help to unburden your feelings........so what better way than to ease myself back into it...but have a little play. The challenge this week on Tag You're It is Monochromatic and a great excuse to play with my favourite Black and White.....have been playing around with this bauble stamp for some Christmas Card samples....I would have probably liked to have introduced a bit of red...perhaps on the berries but being in fear of getting my legs slapped by Sam & Anne decided against it and added glitter instead. 3'd the baubles on foam pads and added the tiniest little gems (doesn't show too well in the pic) and boy are they the most awkward little blighters to keep hold off....I do fear that Buddy has eaten some off the floor...well a little bling won't do him any harm as he is already covered in glitter anyway.
  • Flourish: Rhona Farrer Clear Stamp Set "Autumn Leaves"
  • Baubles: Hero Arts..Decorative Ornaments..Fancy Notes
  • Sentiment: Hero Arts..Three Holiday Messages
  • Gems: Hero Arts
P.S. the baubles are actually black but the piccie seems to be matching the weather here today....grey and overcast.
Back tomorrow with some more cards to share.
Love Kath xxxxxxx

  8. It is so beautiful and elegant Kath.
Our pets are always covered in something the amount of sticky bits and bobs I find in their beddies is unbelievable.
Oh dear and last week I was in the bath and heard this awful wailing from the living room, had to get out and investiagte and there was poor Peaches stretching up to the living room unit cupboard door - I'd locked poor Pepsi inside - she'd jumped up onto the shelf and I'd shut the door, Bless Peaches trying to lend a helping paw!! I wish I'd had my camera.

  11. This is amazing, Kath.. How clever to use the flourish stamp to 'hang' the baubles from! And those wee glass nuggets.. are they? Like dew drops.. They're beautiful!

  12. Ooh.. meant to share a tip for keeping hold of 'the little blighters'... I keep a piece of blu-tak in with my gems, which I elongate so I can use it to pick up little stones. Works perfectly!
