Go Fish...

Hi Everyone...it's Monday and that means it's time to hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's "Summer Fun" challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because...

and the theme for this week is...
GO FISH
and it just so happens that I needed to make a card for a friend who loves fishing and has a birthday coming up soon...
I used a sheet of Yupo and Alcohol Inks to create a background for my fishing scene...stamped images from Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz Wildflowers in Black and Fern Green Archival Inks and created a wall for that Crazy Cat to stand on using the Brick Mini Layering Stencil and Grit Paste. I then coloured the images from the Prima French Riviera Paintables pad with Distress Markers and fussy cut them out.
I stamped the Crazy Cat on to Tim Holtz Watercolor Card and coloured with Distress Markers...
I coated the entire background with Distress Collage Medium Matte and while it was still wet sprinkled on Prima Mini Art stones...
I cut the sharp end off an Idea-ology Trinket Pin...threaded it with twine to make a fishing hook and line for this Crazy Cat who's determined that fish is going to be on tonight's menu
 made a "No Fishing" sign...
and finished off by applying small dots of Glossy Accents to resemble bubbles.

You can find all the products I used over at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp online store...just click on the links below...
