Simon Says - Transport It

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

TRANSPORT IT

I created a nautical theme card using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bubbles Layering Stencil with the new Distress Embossing Glazes, Sizzix Funky Nature and Wacky Transport Thinlits and embellished with Idea-ology Tiny Text Remnant Rubs, Prima Art and Mini Art Stones and Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Clear Droplets.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4", applied Distress Translucent Crackle Paste through Tim  Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bubbles Layering Stencil, sprinkled with Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Embossing Glazes to create an ombre effect and heat set once the paste had dried.

I used Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to colour a panel of Distress Watercolor card, spritzed with water, sprinkled the same colours of Distress Embossing Glazes randomly over the panel and heat set.

I inked around the edge of the panel with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink, die-cut the foliage from the coloured panel using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Nature Thinlits and fixed to the background with Distress Collage Medium.

I applied a generous layer of Distress Collage Medium along the botom of the panel, sprinkled with Prima Art and Mini Art stones and set aside to dry.

I coloured Distress Watercolor card with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink, sprinkled with Chipped Sapphire Distress Embossing Glaze, heat set and die-cut the submarine using Tim Holtz.Sizzix Wacky Transport Thinlits. I die-cut the periscope and rudder from Idea-ology Sparkle KraftStock and added hand cut strips. I fixed the submarine in placce with foam squares to create dimension.

I added Idea-ology Tiny Text Remnant Rubs

I fixed Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets in place using Distress Collage Medium, matted the panel on to Distress Watercolor card trimmed 1/8"larger, coloured with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink using the direct to paper technique and matted on to a top-folding A2 white card blank.
