Monday's Moan...

Morning folks...it's Mrs Grumpy Knickers in Moaning Minnie mood...have you got that Monday morning feeling...yeah me too and I'm hoping that this week is more productive than last...even working over the weekend hasn't made a huge dent in the sample department...
the weather is frosty icicle chilly...the cubbyhole looks like a reclamation yard...Mr Mojo is just not cutting the mustard and me...I think I'm losing the plot...the joys of crafty deadlines when you've got not one jot of inspiration...not even the tiniest spark of creativity don't make for a "bundle of fun" cubbyhole.  And that's not the only problem that's been driving me up the wall....the infamous Kath barnet has decided to go down "the life of it's own" route...suddenly without warning it's taken on that bird's nest "big hair" look....thank goodness I'm booked in for a short back and sides this morning and don't have to resort to a DIY job with the Timmie scissors. I'm hoping that the weight of all that hair has been playing fast and loose with the crafty brain that lies beneath and once I've had the lawnmower treatment I'll be running...steady on...running is now longer in this old girl's repertoire...walking smartly back to the cubbyhole to play with yummy Candi and Messages...with lots of ideas for a creative day making samples for Craftwork Cards to take to CHA.
And woohooo talking of Craftwork Cards...a little reminder of our hot date tonight at midnight with the lovely Julie Hickey over on QVC for a fabilicious TSV.
I'll be staying up late...snuggled up on the sofa with The Furry Boy...mind you he will probably be fast asleep snoring...wrapped in my cosy jammies with a cup of cocoa. I hope you'll be joining me...you don't want to miss out do you and with lots of new kits available throughout the day I have a sneaky feeling it's going to be a "everyone will want some"...lots of  "fly out the door" bundles of gorgeous Craftwork Cards crafty goodies kind of a day.
I'll see you all tomorrow with less hair but hopefully more craft stuff to share
Hugs Kath xxx

  10. Hope the hairdresser has restored harmony to the wayward hair! I've seen piccies of the TSV (over on the Craft Telly forum) and sadly it's nothing to get excited about. It's all about 'recipe' cards. Here's hoping there's other new products that are better.

  11. OMW . . . bad hair day and no mojo . . . sounds like a Duvet Day to me. I don't think you're alone though Kath . . . today is APPARENTLY the most depressing day of the year!

  12. Hi Kath, I would do anything to have "big hair" (except perhaps the perms I had in the 80's.) Love all of your cards and I'll be watching Julie at Midnight snuggled up with a hot chocolate and my blanket. Can't wait to see what's on offer. Take Care Annx

  13. The highlight of my day, just to see what you have been up to Kath. You should think seriously about writing a book about the trials and tribulations of a crafter - it would be off the shelves like hot cakes! A piccy tomorrow of the new hairdo please.
Very frosty here today so just taken the gd to nursery and off to do my ironing - will hopefully get time to start the cardmaking for this year.

  15. Love Craftwork cards, so I will be thinking of you (with your beautiful new hairdo) whilst watching too. No beautiful animal here though, just a battered old teddy...hope your mojo is back after the show. Regards, Anne Rx PS - love your blog!

  16. Hope the lawnmower worked wonders. Three & a half hours by bus to Cardiff & back to sort out glasses for the two of us - we're almost a thousand pounds poorer tonight, even with husband's 25% over 60 discount; I got 10% since I'm too young otherwise it would have been well over the thousand. Enjoy this evening with the cuddly warm furry bundle.

  18. The sneaky peeks look very interesting Kath. Hope you've been getting on better after your haircut. My hair tends to have a mind of it's own too and it drives me nuts that the day I wash it it behaves fine and the next day it's all over the place.

Can't wait to see what Craftwork Cards have on QVC later.

    Kat xx
