Hi my friends, I'm sharing the cards I made for the YouTube Live launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous June 2022 release using Botanic Collage and Noteworthy stamp sets and all 3 Mini Layering Stencils from Set 52. If you missed the Live, you can catch up with all the new products and amazing projects from the Makers on Tim's YouTube Channel HERE or Blog HERE.
I began by trimming Distress Watercolor card to create 3 - 4" x 5.1/4" panels, smooshed a Distress Custom Blend ink pad (Antique Linen/Old Paper Distress and Speckled Egg/Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Re-inkers) on to the craft mat on my Glass Media Mat, placed the panels into the inks, dried and tapped back in to pick up the remaining droplets of inks. I applied Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink through the new Mini Layering Stencils from Set 52 using a Distress Blending Brush. I spritzed the back of the stencils with Crackling Campfire, Spiced Marmalade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Spray Stains, spritzed with water, tapped the stencils on to the panels randomly to create a monoprint effect. I stamped the images from Botanical Collage with Ground Espresso Distress Archival, sprinkled with Ranger Clear Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I applied Distress Crackle Paste Translucent through the same mini layering stencil I had used to create the monoprint effect on each panel and set aside to dry.
I applied Walnut Stain Distress Crayon over the Crackle Texture Paste using a Blending Brush. I stamped the sentiments from Noteworthy, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink on to two of the panels and on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card on the 3rd card.
I added splatters of Jack 'O Lantern Distress Mica Stain, matted the panels on to Distress Kraft HeavyStock trimmed to be 1/8" larger and fixed to A2 white card blanks.
I'll be back soon to share more makes using the fabulous stamp sets and stencils from this release. In the meantime, happy shopping and have fun when your new goodies arrive.
Hugs Kath xxx
