Wow I slept like a top last night.....up this morning and back into the swing of Christmas card orders..... got lots of cards made in the evenings while on holiday....just the personalisation and inserts to do.....so that's the first order complete......just another how many to go.....don't know..not counting.
And guess what I bought as my little holiday treat to me......a Mini Sewing Machine.....I do have a proper sewing machine but it's too heavy to lug up and down the stairs so hopefully this little baby will do the trick for stitching on cards ..the only problem ....at the moment I just don't have time to play with it.
All the stuff I bought recently...Cosmo Cricket TSV......Bind-It-All and my latest kit from My Creative Scrapbook are going to have to be put out of sight until after the Christmas rush. From now until the end of November I will be meeting myself coming back...so much to do and not enough time....hopefully after the Christmas rush there will be lots of me time to play. Well back to it...but hopefully I will manage to squeeze in some challenges this week......catch up with you all later......Love Kath xxxxxxxx
Mmm .. that mini stitching machine really looks like a 'must have' for card creations. Enjoy.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea a mini sewing machine, saves lugging out the big one.
ReplyDeleteWe will expect lots of stitching on your cards in the future, got the cosmo cricket too, but haven't made anything yet, just keep getting it out of the packet and looking at it, will try to do some mini books and photo frames of grace soon.
Love Carolx
It's great so see you back Kath, glad you had a great hols and have fun playing with your new sewing machine, I've got one stashed away somewhere, I must find it :) Donna x
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great holiday Kath! How busy are you? - only back a day and you've finished an order already!

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good hols, missed you

Lucky you!! And look at all the FH papers for your orders!!
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance to play with it -- please let us know what you think of your "mini" sew machine.
ReplyDeleteI realllly would love to get one that is similar-- if I can find it in the US. I have never stitched on cards before and I've always wanted to....
I have no use for a big machine, but a small one like this might do the trick!
I so value your opinion -- so let us know when you've tried it out.
Have a great day with your cute grandbabies.
Wow you've been busy Kath, and such beautiful cards you've made. I need to try that "here" again, didn't get it right last time, might need to ask for more help. Told you I was stupid!! Hugs Linda x
ReplyDeleteWow Kath - you have been a busy bee - so many orders!
ReplyDeleteNow I saw this wee machine in my craft shop last week - did wander about it so you will have to let me know how it does!!
Hugs
