Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Morning folks....and it's time for another challenge card....yes I am managing to fit the occasional one in between other things.   The challenge this week over at Daring Cardmakers is from the lovely Paula......

SCRAPLINGS.....
well I've been a crafter for many years..but this was a new one on me and hey it just goes to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks.....

"Scraplings are little narrow cards made from scrap cardstock. You know how when you make a card from a a piece of A4 or Letter sized cardstock you're left with an off-cut? Well that's the basis of a Scrapling. When folded in half, the Scrapling's card front will measure roughly 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" , though this depends of course on the size of card you were making in the first place....well now you know."

Pink Petticoat...Little Fleurs Collection

Buttons...ribbon...gems and thread from stash
Sentiments: Making Memories Tiny Alpha
Doodlebug Cardstock Stickers

I normally do keep the waste from white cardstock as I use it for stamping images and matting sentiments but hey this is a brand new use and I am loving these cute and dinky little cards.....how great would they look as tags on your christmas parcels and great for place settings at your Christmas table...just use alphas to add the names....and perfect for using up all those itty bitty scraps of paper that we all tend to hoard.....in fact made from scraps left on my desk after making this card.....

Catch up with you all tomorrow for some real exciting news...in fact next week is going to be a bumper bumper week of good news and lots of fun......Friday is a very special day...can't say any more about that  and make sure you join us next week on Penny Black Saturday for a very special challenge with oodles of fabulous prizes to be won....oops I may be in big trouble for letting the cat out of the bag.

  8. These are brilliant Kath, loving the dinky little letters with them too. Sorry about my pb card, the little doggy image is so small. I haven't many pbs as I find them a little big too expensive for a nice sized image so I tend to go for the clear packs. I did get a few better ones this weekend so hopefully you will see it better next week.
