I know I have been a bit naughty and teasing you over the last week....but at last I can share my BIG NEWS.... I can assure you it ain't often that I am lost for words or rendered completely speechless but 4 weeks ago  I received a telephone call from Diane Grimshaw...Editor of SIMPLY CARDS & PAPERCRAFTS to tell me that....... I had won their

CARD DESIGNER OF THE YEAR 2008 COMPETITION

WOW.....WOO....HOO......could have knocked me over with a feather....I'm sure she was thinking they had chosen a gormless twit as their winner.....I was unable to string two sensible words together.....but I was sworn to secrecy.....so I couldn't say anything until the results were published in this month's issue......out today....and believe me it was a nightmare keeping it a secret.     SC&P is my most favourite mag...I have every copy from Issue 1 and as a subscriber I got my copy a few days ago.... what a weird feeling seeing my cards published.   I still can't believe it.....it's like a dream come true and the best Christmas present ever.  Competitions aren't really my scene and I don't know why I decided to enter this year....albeit at the last minute and I was knee deep in Christmas card orders at the time.....but OH BOY am I glad I did.

Speaking of presents......the prize is unbelievable.....mountains and mountains of crafty goodies.....4 huge boxes......more than I can ever use or have room for so I will be sharing with all my bloggy buddies...look out for lots of blog candy give-aways in the coming weeks.

I am now a fully fledged member of the SC&P Design Team.....how cool is that and now that it is official...I think it has finally began to sink in .....all this excitement......need to make myself a strong cuppa and have a seat.  

Big Congratulations to the nine runners-ups.....one of which was our very own BECKY from PBSC.....their entries were all fantastic.
