Daring Cardmakers Challenge

The challenge this week on Daring Cardmakers is "Tis the Season - to Recycle"...now this is straight up my street as I am on a stash ban at the moment...my New Year Resolution was to try and use up some of the mountains of stash I have already bought and this is taking it just one step further.

and made with this......the sheet that came with the
Basic Grey "Granola" collection.
and a little bit of corrugated card from a
12 x 12 delivery box.
Just goes to show what you can do with stuff we would normally be throwing away.
I have a little confession to make.....THE STASH BAN....got a little dent last night.. went online to Happy Stampers....and had a little spend on Penny Black stamps....well how could I resist 20% off everything even the latest Valentine collection.
Off to do some more crafting......samples to finish for Funky Hand's latest CD Funky Daze......Anice will be appearing on Ideal World on 27th January and needs the samples pronto......Hugs Kath xxxxxx

  19. Hi Kath. I just would like to thank you for this gorgeous idea of recycling old cardstock bits. Love the heart shape created with a mosaic of off-cuts. I hope you don't mind, but I have copied your idea for an entry I did for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge. You are welcome to visit Doing Life to have a peep at some of your talent being cardlifted. Hugs from Desire

  21. A fabulous card Kath - I have been known to use up those sheets too!

What can I say about the Stash Ban? - I don't think yours lasted more than one week Mrs - I am onto week 2 and still going strong - although I am getting serious withdrawal symptoms now. 20% off is a big temptation though...... I will resist, I will resist...

  25. Oh Kath, what a fabby idea to use the front sheet from the BG collection.
I would have thought of doing that in a million years and mine always goes straight in the bin when I’ve used up all the papers….but not any more!

Your card is just perfect and I love the doodled edges.
