  6. I was going to guess Cuttlebug too, but to be different, I'll guess...Cricut machine? Santa brought me all sorts of goodies, but my favourite is probably a Spencer and Rutherford travel bag. I had to buy my own craft supplies though, as my friends/family don't share this love of scrapping! And here's the link to my blog, linking to this:

Santa didnt bring me anything crafty, he either thought i had it all! or thought i would prefer to pick it myself (right on both counts). speak soon. jen x

  13. Oh no! I'm not very knowledgeable on all of the wonders of the craft accessory world!! I would have to say a Cuttlebug also. It's one of the few things that I know of, and think it would just be wonderful!

My family wasn't too big on the gift thing this year. I did get a variety of wonderful smelling lotions and bath stuff. I love smelly lotions and bath stuff!

  14. Kath, my guess would have to be a Cricut machine why else would you give a way such an awesome assortment of Alphabet candy.

  16. I've never been one to go out on a limb (at least not too far out anyway) so I'm going to go along with the consensus here and say it was either a Cuttlebug or a Cricut! I've linked you up on my blog: http://mudmaven.blogspot.com/2009/01/blog-candy-alert.html and I can't wait to find out what you got! ~chris

  19. Well I think you already have a cuttlebug so to be different I am guessing that maybe nice new laptop or a nice new printer to go in your new revamped craft room. I brought myself some stampin-up and forever friends stamps on behalf of hubby who doesn't do shopping.

  20. Hmmmm Kath, my first thoughts were, was it Tim Holtz wrapped up in a big bow??????? No????? Hmmmm well then my next thought was maybe it was a Cuttlebug???? Love ya blog!!! Jules

My crafty santa brought me a cuttlebug and my hub is the same as yours so I told him what I wanted, saved it on ebay so he could look at it and then eventually just ordered it myself........aftr years of receiving really awful presents I have learned lol

  24. hi kath, i was looking at your scraproom photos trying to find something "brand new" and i think there's two posibilities:
    1. the Sizzix SideKick Machine, i think it cuz it is still in its box hihihi or
    2. the cutteblug cuz you used a cutteblug to emboss after xmas...

well Santa didn't come to my house this year :(, so it would be awesome to get the giveaway, you would become my santa!! hihihihi, thak you for being so generous!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Kath, I was going to go with the general consensus and say a cuttlebug but as you are now the proud owner of a craft robo im going to say a bind it all. I would love one of these. Santa didn't bring anything crafty this year but hopefully I will be able to buy some new stamps in the sales. Thanks for the chance to win some beautiful candy and I have linked.

  27. Well Kath, I wanted to say something different too but I've been doing a bit of investigating around your blog and I noticed too that you've only just started using embossing folders, PLUS you said you always wanted to join in the Cuttlebug challenges.....Hmmmm..... have to go with the majority 'fraid and say Cuttlebug!

That's a very generous giveaway you have there - I'm sure someone will appreciate it greatly! xx

  28. well I reckon it was the cuttlebug - I saw you'd entered the cuttlebug challenge.

  33. Hi Kath, my first thought was also a cuttlebug. I have not made cards for ages and am going to start again this year and think you have given me lots of food for thought. I did not recieve any crafty items for Christmas but some lovely jeweler and a voucher for another tattoo, but hubby is not happy about that so we will have to see.
Thanks for another generous prize. Joy x

  34. Well I think the clue is in the word necessity, sounds like nestabilities and you need a cuttlebug especially if you like the embossing.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi Kath, I think it might have been a cricut, is that right? Santa brought me a drum kit! I'm not sure excatly why - think it was some kind of impulse buy - but it's (literally) the biggest surprise ever... Here is the link to my blog post where I spread the words about your candy.

    ReplyDelete
  36. well, my guess is not too different from the others. I was going to guess a cricut. As for me I got a mini sewing machine from Santa...so much fun. Now all my cards are going to have stitching on them! Thanks for the fab blog candy...I love all those letter and alphabets! Yum Yum!

I got some lovely spellbinders and I can't live without them neither!
    Thanks for this great chance!

  40. Well, Kath, I'm thinking it was either a Cricut or a Cuttlebug as well. Sounds like those are the big ones on everyone's list! I got lots of neat stuff, but the only crafty one was a gift card from my LSS - I'm using it to get 4 sets of nestabilities - all scallopped, the circles, ovals, squares and rectangles. They've been ordered - can't wait to get them! I have your blog candy on my sidebar also. Blessings, Becky G.

  43. Hmmm, after much blog searching I gave up and decided to read some other comments first before thinking again. And when I saw a few comments saying that you'd only just begun to do cuttlebug embossing, I went back and had another look - they were right!!! (as far I can tell anyway) so my guess, along with a million others is a Cuttlebug!! ;-)

  46. Hmm, from what you say about Santa, I'm thinking it isn't something totally crafty..so how about a new printer?
This year was as dry as a desert, craft-wise but that doesn't mean I won't go treat myself to some new papers and ribbon!

  50. So I'm gonna go WAY out on a limb from everybody else and say that MAYBE it was a SEWING MACHINE! :)

Mainly because you seem to use a lot of stitched patterns in your cards; but they're mostly stamped or drawn-in as far as I can tell...
I use my Brother CE-4000 machine all the time.

For Christmas I got a set of blue-and-white Oriental sushi dishes that my husband noticed I had been eyeing. Hooray!

Still, watch everybody else be right about the Cuttlebug! ;)... Honestly, I also avoided that guess though because it's a touchy subject...a Cuttlebug or Cricut machine will probably be on my wishlist forever!

Thanks for the chance at these awesome alphabets, though! Best of luck to everyone! :)

  57. Hi Kath

Well the only thing I can imagine that you could possibly need is a Tardis which will enable you to store all of the lovely craft goodies you won recently - and I am sure that Santa would be the only person that could satisfy this need because he is magic.

My craft present from Santa was 2 sets of ProMarker pens from Letraset. I already bought myself one set to see how I got on with them. I fell in love with them and my youngest son asked Santa to bring me another two sets. Lucky me!!!

Sorry Kath - still no blog of my own to feature your blog candy on but I wanted to let you know my guess.

    Take care

  65. Well, I searched your blog, and I have to agree...probably a cuttlebug. My husband also doesn't get the "craft" thing...but the man went all out and got me a cricut expression. 68. I'm sorry but I don't have a blog...I'm probably the only crafter in the world that doesn't have one. One of these days I will get into the blog world. I do love blogs and was just doing some playing and ended up here. I love to go from one blog to another to see all the great things that you people make. Well, everyone has guessed that you got either a Cuttlebug or a Cricut. I must say it has to be one of those two. I have them both and LOVE them. My family is clueless when it comes to gifts for me. They all say I am hard to buy for...all they have to do is buy me gift certificates to my favorite craft shopping places. I did get one Michael's gift certificate but that is ALL!! I just had to use my own money and go buy me a few Cuttlebug embossing folders and wrap them up from Santa and put them under the tree. I love all the terrific items in you blog candy give away. 69. Umm.... I'm totally confused!!! I originally thought that you had a cuttlebug but after reading the responses I'm now thinking that perhaps I have been hallucinating??? Mind you, first week back at work and my brain is all over the place! I think you got some kind of machine but not quite sure what! I agree with the person who said that you perhaps got a sizzix sidekick as I do recall seeing one in the new pictures of your cubbyhole. Santa was very good to me crafting wise - martha stewarta punches, cuttlebug, Fiskars punches and scalloped nesties. But then again, I did have to request them!! Hugs, Lainy xxx
